Idiom story
At the end of the Tang Dynasty, Luo Shaowei, the governor of Wei Bo, was worried that his guards would turn against him, so he sent Zang Tingfan, a trusted follower, to find Zhu Wen, the king of Liang, to help him. Taking advantage of his daughter's funeral, Zhu Wen sent troops to destroy Luo Shaowei's guards and then occupied Weizhou. Luo Shaowei had to pay for the army. He led the wolf into the house, made a big mistake, and regretted it later. In Zizhi Tongjian, the third year of emperor Zhaozong of Tang Dynasty, it is said that "Quan Zhong stayed in Wei for half a year, Luo Shaowei provided 100 million yuan, killed nearly 700000 cattle, sheep, pigs, and grain, and bribed nearly one million yuan; compared with the past, the accumulation is empty. Although Shaowei was forced out of his power, the Wei soldiers were weak. Shao Wei regretted it and said to the people, "the railway of the forty-three counties in the six continents should not be wronged for this." Hu Sansheng's note: "wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. Luo took the mistake of killing teeth soldiers as a metaphor Anaphora causes a great and irretrievable mistake. since the middle of the Tang Dynasty, the power of the vassal towns (local provinces) has been very strong, and the imperial court has been unable to intervene. They have their own army, tax revenue, and the appointment and removal of officials. The head of each town is called Jiedushi, which is often hereditary or elected by the forces in the town, and the emperor of the Tang Dynasty has to recognize it afterwards. During the reign of emperor Zong of the Tang Dynasty, Tian Chengsi was the governor of Wei Bo (Wei, Bo, Xiang, Wei, Bei, Dan, now Bohai Bay to the north of the Yellow River). He selected 5000 people from the army and formed his own guard, called Yajun. Two hundred years later, when Luo Shaowei was a Jiedushi in the late Tang Dynasty, Wei Bo's Yajun army was very powerful and arrogant. They were forced to buy and plunder. Wei Bo's local officials could do nothing to them. Moreover, the Yajun army often mutinied and had expelled and killed several Jiedushi. In the second year of emperor Zhaozong's Tianyou reign at the end of the Tang Dynasty, Li Gongquan, a member of the Yajun army, made trouble. Luo Shaowei sent people to Zhu Wen, the most powerful Jiedu envoy of Xuanwu (now Kaifeng, Henan Province), for help. Zhu Wen sent 70000 troops into Weibo and killed 8000 Yajun. This made the whole army of Weibo afraid, and many people rebelled. In the second year, the rebel forces scattered around Weibo were able to subside. When Zhu Wen's army was in Weibo for half a year, Luo Shaowei provided hundreds of millions of money, killed nearly 700000 cattle and sheep, and gave millions of money when they left. Although Luo Shaowei got rid of his troubles with Zhu Wen, Wei Bo was weak from then on. Luo Shaowei regretted it and said, "it's not such a big mistake to gather the iron from the six states and 43 counties of Weibo."! 」
