Lingering thoughts
As a Chinese idiom, Pinyin is y í f ē ngy ú s ī, which means the customs and feelings left over from the previous generation. It comes from the story of Jiang Shou Ju Yuan Chi.
The origin of Idioms
Fan Zongshi of Tang Dynasty wrote "Jiang is Dongyong. It is the place where the principle is kept. It has a deep sense of participation and a rich atmosphere. It has the lingering thoughts of Tao Tangji."
