Idiom story

Fan Zhongyan was born in Wu County of Suzhou in the Northern Song Dynasty. In Song Zhenzong Dazhong Xiangfu year examination Jinshi, successively served as Yousi Jian, officials wailang, Zhizhou, privy Deputy envoy and so on. In the third year of Qingli (1043 AD), Fan Zhongyan was appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister.
