Idiom story
During the reign of emperor Zhongzong of Tang Dynasty, Jinshi Zhang Juyou visited Ci'en Temple. On a whim, he put his name under the big wild goose pagoda. Unexpectedly, this move attracted scholars to follow suit. In particular, the new Jinshi regarded the title of Yanta as a great honor. After a banquet in Qujiang, they collectively came to the big wild goose pagoda and recommended good calligraphers to inscribe their names, native places and dates on the wall in ink. If some of these people become Qing Xiang in the future, they should change their names to Zhu Bi. Among the names of Yanta, Bai Juyi is the most famous. At the age of 27, he was the youngest of the seventeen. He couldn't restrain his joy and wrote the poem "under the title of Ci'en tower, the youngest of the seventeen". Another example is Liu Cang, another new scientist in the tenth grade, who wrote: "Zihao powder wall inscribes the book of immortals". He simply thought that he was the star of Wenqu in the sky. Although the poetry of the new scholars continued, the space of the walls of Ci'en Temple was limited, and soon the white walls became "flower walls". But unfortunately, these titles are no longer visible. It is said that Li Deyu, the Prime Minister of emperor Wuzong of the Tang Dynasty, was not a Jinshi, so he deeply avoided Jinshi. He ordered the cancellation of Qujiang banquet and asked people to remove all the titles of Xinke Jinshi.
