"Inseparable" is an alternative urban film written and directed by Wu Shixian, starring Kevin Spacey, Wu Yanzu, Gong Beipeng and Yan Ni. It was released in mainland China on May 4, 2012.
The film tells the story of Li Yue, a tired and unskilled engineer, who tries to commit suicide, but is rescued by his foreigner neighbor Lao cha. As a result, they become good friends. Lao Cha helped Li Yue solve his work problems and emotional conflicts with his wife in an unexpected way. In the process, Li Yue and Lao Cha embarked on a magical journey together.
Inseparable was selected as the participating film of the 16th Pusan International Film Festival, the top ten Asian films of the Wall Street Journal in 2011, and the best Sino US cooperative film award of the 9th Sino US film festival.
Synopsis
