The Chinese idiom, w á NSH í t ā NR ì in pinyin, refers to the desire for leisure and time. It's the same as "playing with time". From preface.

Song Lian's preface of the Ming Dynasty: "Lian, with the money of Miao you, plays for time and day, and can't form a chapter."
