In the Jin Dynasty, there was a monk named Wei Daosheng. He became a monk when he was a child. He studied scriptures, studied Buddhism, and was proficient in Buddhist scriptures. He had outstanding talent. Therefore, he was called master Daosheng. Sheng Gong was highly valued by the emperor in the capital. Buddhism was very popular at that time (there were many schools of Buddhism). Some ministers in the imperial court were jealous of him and falsely accused Shenggong of being a cult. The emperor believed the slander and drove Shenggong out of the capital. Sheng Gong traveled everywhere. Once, when he came to Suzhou City and saw the beautiful scenery of Huqiu mountain, he settled down here and preached. When the local people heard that the eminent monk had come to Huqiu mountain, they spread the story one by one, ten by one, hundred by ten Then it spread, and all the people who went to listen to the Scriptures filled a big plate stone (called "thousand people stone") on Huqiu mountain. The news of Shenggong lecturing in Huqiu mountain soon spread in Suzhou, and more and more people listened to him. When the magistrate of Suzhou learned about it, he was afraid of offending the imperial court, so he ordered Shenggong not to preach the Scriptures, and drove all those who listened to the Scriptures away. Sheng Gong is not disheartened, but perseveres. No one listens to the Scriptures, so they invite stones and birds to listen to the Scriptures. Even the water in the Bailian pool will be full, so they say, "born with full water, born without empty water". After listening to his scriptures, all the flowers bloom. What is the reason?
