The origin of Idioms

Chen Ruyuan of the Ming Dynasty wrote in "the story of the Golden Lotus · Tansi": "it was once seen that the ancient wuche Rao was made by Chen Ruyuan, and the peanut and the jade Sujiao were made by Bingyu." It is also called "casting the present from the past".

Idiom usage

An example is Wang Shizhen's "chibeidutan · tanyier · cangming Caiji" in the Qing Dynasty: "to keep the truth, to take the essence, to take the ancestors, to cast the past and the present, to be the representative of the times."
