The teeth are few and the spirit is sharp - chǐ shǎo qì ruì

echo - suí shēng fù hè

use impractical means to solve a problem - jié zhǐ shì jù

From south to North - tōng nán chè běi

look at the sky through a tube - yǐ guǎn kuī tiān

the needle seems to fly and the thread seems to run - fēi zhēn zǒu xiàn

prove effective every time - lǚ shì bù shuǎng

To make a mess of - tān zāo chuò lí

make one 's utmost efforts to fight for one 's point of view - jù lǐ lì zhēng
