The origin of Idioms
In the preface to Huang Xianqiao's poems by Zeng Guofan in Qing Dynasty, it is said that "he can discard the old and seek the new, and promise to enrich the meaning. However, he once did not think of himself, but retreated if he had nothing to do with the ancient."
