A dead man - shī jiū zhī píng

as similar as the two halves of a tally - ruò hé fú jié

crisscross streets - shí zì jiē kǒu

A donkey's lips and a horse's mouth - lǘ chún mǎ zī

Want to see the wind - xiǎng wàng fēng shèng

Closed door - bì kǒu hé shé

neither drink nor eat - bù chá bù fàn

nothing to be feared - bù zú wéi lǜ

kill the chicken to frighten the monkey - shā jī hài hóu
