Kanzhi is a popular Chinese idiom. Pinyin is k ǎ nzh ǐ Li ú x í ng, which means to stop when encountering kanzhi and go when riding the current. It means to determine the advance and retreat according to the adverse environment. It comes from the biography of Jia Yi in Hanshu.
