petty profit - yíng tóu xiǎo lì

silent and soundless - qiǎo rán wú shēng

Birds scatter and fish crumble - niǎo sàn yú kuì

Be quiet - tōu xián duǒ jìng

multitude - hào rú yān hǎi

not a hair 's breadth in between - jiàn bù róng fà

so that there is no end [ of our toils - mí suǒ dǐ zhǐ

Be humble - zuò xiǎo fú dī

exaggerate - shén sè zhāng huáng

Avoid their spirit and strike them lazy - bì qí ruì qì，jī qí duò guī
