Synopsis

Kovsky < I > (Barry Newman) < / I > used to be a racing driver, a policeman and a stuntman. Now he works for an automobile service company. One night, he was going to take a dodge "white Challenger" from Colorado to San Francisco. On the night of departure, he made a bet with an old friend that he would call from San Francisco at 3pm the next day. This means that he has to reach his destination within 15 hours, while the speed is about 160. Kowalski ran all the way and soon caught the attention of the highway patrol. He ignored the police's warning, with years of racing experience and superb driving skills, he threw off one after another pursuers and challengers. His arrogance angered the police and aroused wide attention from all walks of life in the United States. The scale of his arrest is also growing.

    Controversy about the film the ending of the film caused a lot of controversy.
