Idiom story
During the reign of emperor Renzong of Song Dynasty, Miao Zhen, a scholar, worked as an official for several years. Then he went to the imperial court to take an exam. Yan Shu, the Prime Minister of the imperial court, asked him to review his lessons. Miao Zhen said he would not be upset. As a result, Miao Zhen wrote "under the heaven, is it king" in the exam and lost. Miao Zhen felt very ashamed when he saw Yan Shu.
