It is a Chinese idiom. Its pinyin is Chu í m í ngq ī ngsh ǐ, which means that the name is recorded in history and handed down to later generations. It comes from the biography of Goujian attacking Wu in the spring and Autumn period of Wu and Yue.

Zhao Ye of the Han Dynasty wrote in the spring and Autumn Annals of Wu and Yue, the biography of Goujian attacking Wu: "the sound can be carried by the string tube, and the name can be left on the bamboo and silk."
