The Chinese idiom ch ó up ā Nb ì ngsh ě n in pinyin means trouble and disease.
The origin of the idiom is that in Jin Dynasty, Pan Yue had white hair because of sorrow, while in Southern Dynasty, Liang and Shen Yue were thin because of illness.
