Shaocui is a native of Zhejiang.

Daoguang eighteen years (1838) Wuxu Jinshi. He selected scholars from the Imperial Academy and taught them to edit. He went to the Imperial Academy as a lecturer. He is the author of shuangguitang Shicun.
