Xu Luan, whose date of birth and death is unknown, is a calligrapher from Yangxian (now Yixing, Jiangsu Province). Like painting plum, known as "plum Taishou.".

His calligraphy is as simple and elegant as that of the king Zhong. He once wrote "immortal heart Buddha body" for Taiqing palace and hung it at the southeast corner.
