Xu Junliang, male, born in October 1933 in Zhaoan, Fujian Province, Han nationality, is a member of the Democratic League.

Personal profile

Since the 1970s, he has been engaged in estuarine and coastal research, participated in the national key project "Lingdingyang hydrological survey", and contributed the Research Report "Lingdingyang hydrological characteristics of the Pearl River Estuary". The survey results won the second prize of excellent science and technology award of the Ministry of water and electricity in 1981. He presided over another project of the key project "formation, development and evolution of liandingyang shoal". The results have passed the evaluation of famous experts inside and outside the province, and are considered to be in the sedimentary basin The environment and sedimentary age fill the blank of the Pearl River Estuary research. In 1956, he graduated from the Department of geography of South China Normal University and taught in Guangdong Normal University.

In 1960, he was transferred to Guangzhou Institute of geography, Chinese Academy of Sciences to study physical geography.

He was transferred to the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1975.

In 1978, he was transferred back to Guangzhou Institute of geography to study estuarine and Coastal Science and tourism geology. He has been a teaching assistant and assistant researcher.

He was promoted to associate researcher in 1982. He used to be the director of the river coast Research Office of Guangzhou Institute of geography, the director of the scenic tourism research center, and the master's supervisor.
