Peng Tianyi, a native of Sikong mountain, was a Jinshi of the Northern Song Dynasty and a military officer. During the reign of Emperor Huizong from Chongning (1102-1106) to Daguan (1107-1110), he was a doctor of Taixue.

At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, when the internal and external troubles and the state affairs became increasingly unstable, Peng Shen was worried and tried to remedy the current situation. Because of his disagreement with Cai Jing and other traitors, he was transferred to Huguang. In the early years of the grand view, Peng Fengfeng played an important role in the affairs, and tried to talk about the serious consequences of Cai Jing's abuse of power, which was not adopted, and the magistrate could not do it. At the age of 50, he resigned and returned to his hometown. One day, when Emperor Huizong went to court, he asked you about the local conditions of you county. Tianyi wrote the stele of rebuilding the three wonders of Yangsheng temple to publicize Sikong's "three wonders" and wrote the poem Sikong mountain.
