Zhang Zheng's army came to rescue, and Li Dang's army fought to the death, so Zhang Zheng's army was defeated. Li te advocated that Zhang Zheng should be released to Fuling. Li Dang and Wang Xin said: "Zhang Zheng's army has been fighting for a long time. There are many disabled soldiers and their wisdom and courage are exhausted. We should catch him when they are defeated. If we let him go, Zhang Zheng will regain his strength, recruit the fugitives, and the rest of the soldiers will gather together again, then it will not be easy to attack him. " After listening to their opinions, Li te attacked Zhang Zheng again. Zhang Zheng was defeated and broke through. Li Dang led the army to catch up with Zhang Zheng by sea and land. He killed him and captured his son Zhang Cun alive. Later, because he was bereaved by Zhang Zheng, he released him soon.
