Zhang Yin (Zhang Ying), a native of Guyuan mountain, was born in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province in January 1957. He is a member of Shanxi Artists Association, vice chairman of Shanxi Gujiao Artists Association and painter of Sanjin Painting Academy. Now he is a special painter of China entrepreneur Collection Association, an elite painter of Yunfeng Painting Academy in Beijing, a director of Beijing Rongbao painting academy and a professional painter in Beijing.

Artistic experience

Born in a scholarly family, he studied stage art with Mr. Liu Guangyu, a drama artist, for 70 years, and oil painting with Mr. Li Shengrui, an oil painter. In 1980, he was transferred to the cultural museum, engaged in art work, and taught himself Chinese painting. In 1990, he resigned and engaged in advertising decoration design. In recent years, living in seclusion in the countryside, he has devoted himself to the research and creation of contemporary style Chinese ladies' paintings. His works pursue the creation methods of "tranquility and nature, harmony between man and nature", "integration of Chinese and western, nation oriented", and examine the basic spirit of Chinese culture. In 1988, a personal painting exhibition was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. In November 1991, Beijing Contemporary Art Museum held a solo exhibition of ink painting. In May 2001, he participated in the "love my China" Chinese painting and oil painting exhibition sponsored by the Mass Culture Association of the Ministry of culture of China and the Taiwan Chinese culture and art foundation, and his work "midsummer" won the excellent award. In June 2001, he participated in the "new era" Chinese painting exhibition sponsored by the Chinese Artists Association, and his work "courtyard deep" won the excellent award. In July 2000, Hebei Fine Arts Publishing House published the calendar of "selected Chinese fine brushwork paintings of ladies" in 2001. CCTV, people's daily, Guangming Daily, overseas edition of people's daily, Shanxi daily and Taiyuan Daily have all made detailed reports, and their works are widely collected by people at home and abroad.
