Kang Wei, male, born in 1957 in Fuyang, Anhui Province, is an associate professor and a three-level professional and technical police supervisor. He graduated from the investigation major of people's Public Security University of China in 1986. Now he is the director of audio-visual technology teaching and research section of criminal science and Technology Department of Sichuan Police College, a member of China Photographers Association, a contract photographer of time pictures, and a consultant of Luzhou police Photography Association. Lectures include "police scene photography", "police photography", "digital image processing", "criminal investigation portrait combination", "Photoshop and its application" and other courses. It is one of the main researches of the provincial excellent course "police scene photography". More than 43 academic papers have been published, such as "Discussion on the inspection methods of image evidence data". He has presided over three university level projects including "Research on fuzzy image processing technology of material evidence" and participated in four provincial level scientific research projects. He has served as deputy editor in chief of two teaching materials including "criminal imaging" and "guidance on criminal image skills training" compiled by police colleges and universities of the Ministry of public security, and co authored the original teaching material "criminal imaging technology experiment and training manual".
