Kong Xianyi, named Xuzhong, Xiushan, Xiushan and Hanzhai, was a member of the Dingyou imperial examination in 1837 and a cabinet official. He was born in Qufu, Shandong Province. He is the 72nd generation of Confucius. Kong Xianyi was born in 1808 and died in 1863. Kong Xianyi's "little teacher" was Li Zongchuan, who was an ancient literature of Tongcheng. He also learned from Sheng Dashi and Ruan Yuanyou. Having lived in the capital for a long time, he studied with Wei Yuan, Zeng Guofan, he Shaoji, Su tingkui, Yan Liangxun and Peng Yunzhang, often for a while to dozens of people.
