Kong Tianyin (1505-1581), with the name of Ruyang and wenguzi, is also called Guancen mountain man, and the dead gate is called Mr. Wenjing. Fenzhou wentongli baijinbao (now Shanxi Wenshui County xicaotou Township baijinbao Village) people. His grandfather was Zheng Yibin (now known as his son-in-law) of Jin Dynasty, and his father Kong Xiongjun was Yi Bin of King Qingcheng's mansion, who was granted the title of Fengxun doctor.

Life of the characters

Born in a noble family, Kong Tianyin was brilliant as a child. In the tenth year of Jiajing period (1531), he won the provincial examination. In the second year, he won the first and second place. Local people call him Kong Bangyan. According to the system of Ming Dynasty, all the family members were not allowed to hold official posts in the capital. Therefore, Kong Tianyin could only go to Shaanxi to serve as the chief inspector and supervisor. Later, he was promoted to be a magistrate of Qizhou (now Anguo, Hebei Province), and later was promoted to be a governor of Henan Province. He took the post of Chief Secretary to participate in the deliberation, supervised the learning and administration of Zhejiang Province, followed the post of chief inspector of Shaanxi Province, right chief envoy, and left chief envoy of Henan Province. He was a clean and honest official and was praised by people everywhere he went. After returning home, he built "Wenyuan Qingju", "jizhuoyuan" and other small gardens, and often recited poems and talked with friends in the garden. Kong Tianyin is famous for his study of Neo Confucianism. His theory inherits the tenet of the Confucianists in Song Dynasty, that is, to study things, to know, to argue and to practice. He emphasizes that the first thing for the teachers is to practice, the second is to study the words, and the education people should pay attention to self-examination, and then they can take themselves as the model of their disciples. I love collecting books and publishing a lot of books. When he returned to his hometown in his later years, he built a book collection building and an engraving workshop with a collection of ten thousand volumes. His song of drying books says that "the disordered bamboo slips and incomplete books are in the second place, and the relics of our ancestors are full of dust.". Kong Tianyin, together with Wang Daoxing, LV Zhonghe and Pei Bangqi, organized poetry societies to advocate harmony with poetry, which was highly praised by scholars at that time. In his life, he wrote 20 volumes of Kong Wengu's anthologies and 14 volumes of Kong Wengu's poetry anthologies, and printed thousands of volumes of Zizhi Tongjian, Houhanshu, Shijin manuscript, Fenzhou Prefecture annals, Xijing Zaji, wenguzi anthologies, etc. Zhouyi Zhuan, Yuxi manuscript, etc. Xia Hai Pian, a volume, is described by Siku Quanshu. He also compiled eight volumes of Fenzhou annals, but it has been lost.
