Jiang Deming, male, born in 1929 in Tianjin, Shandong Province, is a famous book collector.

Character experience

After graduating from Beijing journalism school in 1951, he worked for people's daily, editing literary supplement for more than 30 years. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1963. He once served as the literary and Art Department of people's daily, President of people's daily press, director of Lu Xun research association, and vice president of China prose society. Published in 1948. He joined the Chinese Writers Association in 1979. Before 1949, when I was a middle school student in Tianjin, I often read books in the bookstore of quanyechang and began to buy books.

Collection years

He studied in Beijing journalism school in 1950, then worked in people's daily, served as literary supplement and President of people's daily press. Out of love for modern Chinese literature, he began to collect and write books for 50 years, and later became the president of people's daily press. I got acquainted with Lei Mengshui, a bibliophile, and had correspondence with him. His collection is characterized by the collection of books published in the Republic of China. Among them, the treasures are the out of print book Fortress Besieged published by Chenguang company and the hand copied copy of the Anti Japanese treasures, the story of the fall of Zhenjiang, etc. He wrote prose and book talk, focusing on the things inside and outside the book, before and after the book, providing version knowledge and arousing readers' interest in love, reading and collecting books. More than 200 covers were selected from his collection of books, reflecting the development of Chinese book binding from 1919 to 1949.
