Tang Li

Tang Li, a native of Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province, was born in the first year of qianning.

From 825, the first year of Baoli in Tang Dynasty, to 1904, the 30th year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, there were 129 Jinshi in Pingxiang. Among them, 122 were Chinese Jinshi (including 21 in Lianhua county) and 7 were Wu Jinshi. According to historical records, the first candidate in Pingxiang was Yi Zhiwu in the first year of Tang Baoli, followed by Tang Yu in the first year of Tang qianning (894).

Tang Yu (875-936) is a native of Changping, Shangli County, Jiangxi Province. In the first year of emperor qianning of Tang Dynasty (894), he was a Jinshi and a member of the Imperial Academy. Its name is recorded in the history of art and literature of the Tang Dynasty. "Pingxiang county annals" recorded: "Yan Tong has knowledge, set Zhenguan before the article, where 30 volumes, called Zhenguan new book.". At that time, it was called "the capital of new books".

Tang Yu and the famous poet monk of the same time were very affectionate and harmonious in poetry. Qi Ji's poem "send the correct character of Tang Dynasty" says: "the new book has a high price in the imperial capital, and there is no new book in the forest. The fragrance of wine in spring warms my heart, and the clouds wet my moustache at night. With the water Pavilion monks are listed, a total of fish boat crane is also lonely. Changyi came to see you off, and the door of the cave was covered with calamus The "new book" praised in the poem refers to the "new book of Zhenguan" written by Tang Zhen. It can be seen that at that time, it had already gained a high reputation in the capital.

Tang Li was the first poet to chant his hometown yangqishan and yangqisi.

His poem yangqishan Temple says:

Douzhu goes through Huayue village and enters Yunmen from the old road.

Cuiwei not closed, the building out, blowing frequency back water stone noise.

Tianwai crane to pine since old, cliff monk to tower empty storage.

Once again, Bai Shou Liang is happy, and the morning dew is full of words.

Tang Lin was in the late Tang Dynasty when the society was in turmoil. He yearned for the "rule of Zhenguan" in the early Tang Dynasty. Therefore, he wrote the new book of Zhenguan, which was famous and influential. He was the first scholar to publish works in Pingxiang.
