Wu Baosan is from Lanxi, Heilongjiang Province. He is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from Chinese Department of Peking University in 1974. He has successively served as the reporter of Heilongjiang reporter Station of Central People's radio, the propaganda director and Deputy Secretary of the Party committee of Xingcheng Sanatorium of the Ministry of forestry, the chief editor of China forestry literature, the deputy director of the Propaganda Department of Heilongjiang Forest Industry General Administration, the chief editor of great forest literature, the Secretary of the Party committee of Material Bureau of Heilongjiang Forest Industry General Administration and the executive vice chairman of the Federation of literary and art circles.
