Wu dating (1824-1877) was an official of Qing Dynasty. Tongyun is a native of Yuanling, Hunan Province. Xianfeng five years. In 1866 (the fifth year of Tongzhi), he was appointed as an inspector to patrol Taiwan. He was a local ruler in this stage of the Qing Dynasty. He was recommended by Hu Linyi and Zeng Guofan, but was not a good official. He gave his death to the Minister of Taipusi, and had a "poetry note of xiaoyouyushan hall".
