Yecalyx (1486-1545), named Weifu and fugu, was born in Guishan County, Huizhou Prefecture, Guangdong Province. The son of Ye Shi. Ming Shenzong Wanli two years (1574) Gongsheng, official training guide, select Yanzhou Jiaoyu. Known as one of the "five gentlemen on the lake", it worships the ancestral hall of the local sages. He once received Ye Zongde (taboo Shiquan), a clansman who fled from Luoxi in Haifeng to Huizhou, and wrote "please suppress the mountain bandits". And with the support of Ye Chunxiu, Chunfang, Chunji and other wanshifang clans, he went to the capital, and Shangshu accused LAN Yiqing, Lai Yuanjue and other people of killing jikangdu people. Finally, the imperial court sent troops to calm down the thief atmosphere. He is the author of the following works: the real record of tingpei, Hetu Yishu, Shishu Jingshi, Sishu Hequan, fanghuhushu, Guangmo Youcao, Qizi Zhenzong, etc. There are biographies in Volume 17 of Guishan county annals by Yongzheng of Qing Dynasty.
