Ye Zhishen, a scholar and bibliophile of the Qing Dynasty, was named Dongqing. He was named suiweng and danweng in the late Qing Dynasty. He was born in Hanyang, Hubei Province, and a sixth generation descendant of Ye Kaitai.

It has a large collection of books. Gong Sheng was born in the Imperial Academy in 1804. He was promoted to the doctor of the military selection Department of the Ministry of war. He is knowledgeable and good at the study of inscriptions on bronze and stone. He can distinguish its origin and analyze its meaning. The collection of gold and stone, calligraphy and painting, ancient and modern books is very rich. Based on the historical records of Qin and Han Dynasties, the similarities and differences of the official system of the past dynasties are studied. The collected gold and stone antiquities are mostly recorded in the "gold and stone records of Junqing Museum". Ye Changchi, a famous scholar of the Qing Dynasty, once read his collection of books and said that he had a wide range of books. The library includes "Jian xuezhai", "Ping'an hall", "Yiyi thatched cottage", "Lan Hua hall", "Er Lei Xuan" and "200 LAN Ting Zhai". He has compiled the bibliography of Ping'an Museum. After the collection, Li Bingxun, the owner of baomingzhai in Liulichang, Beijing, bought 100 cases of books, including ancient bronze wares. The collection is printed with "Ye Zhimian and Jian Ji", "juhanzhiyang", "Dongqing proofreading", "shizhuzhai books", "danweng seal", "ye yinzhimian", "danweng", "Ye's Ping'an Guan Ji", "Dongqing Guoyan", "Hanyang Ye's collection", "Ping'an Guan", etc. His works mainly include YONGGU Lu, Shizi Lu, Jinshan dingkao, Shounian Lu, Shangdi Lu, Jigu Lu, Shennong materia medica biography, poetry and essays of Ping'an hall, and essays of Jian xuezhai.
