Liu Yishen is a modern poet. The word is long Hui. He is from Guichi, Anhui Province.

Life of the characters

He is the alternate prefect of Jiangsu Province. He was a good poet but not good at governing his students. He was very poor in his later years and lived in Wumen. Jin Tianyu called his poems "strong Cang implication, containing Zen theory, syntax constantly learning Sanyuan (Chen Sanli)" (preface to longhuitang poems). His life story can be seen in the volume of Guangxu Xuantong Dynasty in the chronicle of Qing poetry.
