Huangfu

Huangfu Chu (1497-1582) was born in Changzhou (now Suzhou, Jiangsu Province) during the Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty. His name was Zixun, and his name was Baiquan and baiquanzi. Huangfu recorded his third son. Wuzhong (Changzhou) poet in the middle of Ming Dynasty.

His works include Huangfu sixun collection, Huangfu sixun Qingli manuscript, Jieyi Shihua and baiquanzi introduction.

Life of the characters

In the eighth year of Jiajing (1529), Huangfu became a Jinshi in the examination. He first served as a doctor of Guozijian, and then was promoted to a doctor of Yuheng Department of the Ministry of industry. Because of the delay in transporting Lingshi, he was demoted to Huangzhou Tui Guan, and then was promoted to a doctor of Jixun Department of the Ministry of officials in Nanjing. Some people slandered his brother Huangfu in the grand plan. Huangfu argued with him and was relegated to his home. Wang Yan, the censor, had a dictatorial attitude and suspected that the rumors spread among the people came from Huangfu, so he planned to kill him. Huangfu ran away. Later, he was appointed as the Tongzhi of Kaizhou, transferred to the Tongzhi of Chuzhou, and then promoted to the Jingshi of chasi in Yunnan. After the grand plan, he was dismissed. After returning home, he entertained himself with poems and wine, toured the lakes and mountains, and had banquets with local celebrities. He lived 80 years.

Literary achievements

His works include 24 volumes of Changzhou art and literature annals, introduction of baiquanzi, Jieyi Xinyu, Huangfu sixun collection, etc. There are selected poems of yuhantang, Zhongyi Shiyi and bailuoyuan's manuscripts. It can be seen from the story of Huangfu that Chen Jiru of the Ming Dynasty compiled the selected poems of Minggong of the state and the records of Suzhou. The history of Ming Dynasty has 287 biographies.

Relative members

Huangfu's grandfather, Huangfu, believed in poetry and prose, and his father, Huangfu Lu, was an official of scientific research. Four brothers, the eldest brother Huangfu Chong Zhongju, the second brother Huangfu Su, the younger brother Huangfu Lian are all Jinshi. "The prosperity of Kedi's Ci poetry comes from one school.". Huangfu brothers are also famous for their poems and articles. They are known as the "four outstanding Huangfu brothers" and "the two lands in the cloud" in the past. When he was 71 years old (in 1574, the second year of Wanli), he selected the above works and engraved sixty volumes of Huangfu sixun.
