Wang Kai (unknown year of birth and death), named jieweng, was born in Pingchang County, Chuzhou (now Hushan Town, Suichang County, Zhejiang Province). He was a poet of the Southern Song Dynasty, and was awarded County captain of Jinxi (now Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province) at the end of the song Dynasty. After the death of the Song Dynasty, he became a Taoist and lived in seclusion in Hushan. At the same time, he formed an association with Yin lvpo and other adherents of the Song Dynasty to sing, and ordered him to live in the "Sun Moon cave", known as "Mr. moon cave".

Profile

His works were published as yuedongyin by sun yangduan in 1558. In 1593, Tang Xianzu wrote a preface to his poetry anthology when he was appointed magistrate of Suichang: "Mr. Song Yuedong's poetry is almost out of the hands of the late man, and the season of song is just like that of Tang." Tang Xianzu admired Yuedong's character and poetry, and wrote an inscription "one man in the forest". After entering the Qing Dynasty, sun Zongyu, a member of his family, made up the latter volume. In the 19th year of Jiaqing (1814), Sun Nan, a member of his family, carved two volumes of Yuedong poetry anthology. His poems are based on Yuedong poetry anthology published in 1887. It was handed down to the world by photocopying Wenyuan's Sikuquanshu yuedongyin (sikuben for short).
