LAN Yiquan: word Shiheng, Huguang Xiangyang (now Hubei) people, officials in the early Ming Dynasty. Hong wuchu selected Zhongshu as his teaching material. Later, he was ordered by the Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang to go to Zuojiang and Youjiang areas of Guangxi to appease the minority people. Because of his merit, he was promoted to wailang, a member of the Ministry of rites. He is erudite and able to write poems.
