Zhonglingchan Temple

Founded in 1911, zhonglingchan temple is located in Changsheng Township, Kedong County, Qiqihar. It was originally named Zhongling temple. Due to the lack of Taoist clergy, it was renamed Zhongling temple. Now it is a place for Buddhist activities. The whole temple is built in the shade, with a main hall, two main halls and four pavilions. It covers an area of 6000 square meters, with a construction area of 600 square meters. All of them are brick and wood structures, and the walls are carved with sunflower, peony and other patterns. The hall is solemn and simple, and the environment is quiet. It enjoys the reputation of a blessed place and makes visitors stop to enjoy it. The representative cultural relic of Zhongling temple is an ancient bronze bell with a height of 1.3 meters and a diameter of 0.8 meters. The whole clock consists of 23 templates, which are engraved with 1500 seal characters in Yangwen, recording the whole casting process of the clock. This clock has beautiful shape and excellent workmanship. Whenever the dawn appears, melodious bell, spread everywhere. As the ancients said, "the morning bell wakes up many celebrities and profiteers in the world.". As a bronze civilization and superb smelting technology, this ancient bell is rare in northern China and has high ornamental and research value, so Zhongling Temple becomes a local scenic spot.
