Painters of the Southern Song Dynasty. The word is "Sheng" and "mo'an". Langya (now Shandong) people, usually good at fine brushwork painting, once in Qingyuan official Taiwei. In his later years, he wrote about 202 kinds of herbs he saw in his hometown, named lvchanyan Materia Medica, which is three volumes in total. The painting is exquisite and brightly colored. It is the earliest work of color picture materia medica in China, which is treasured by later generations. Today, his copy is kept.
