Shen Jifei is a drama theorist in Ming Dynasty. Tianyu is a native of Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. The year of birth and death cannot be examined. He is the author of the new collection of Cao Tang Shi Yu.

Profile

During the reign of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty, a collection of Yu Ming Tang was published, with four kinds of songs of Yu Ming Tang attached at the end. There is an inscription in front of each play to comment on the plot, characterization and language style of Tang Xianzu's "four dreams of Yu Ming Tang".
