Wang Ya, a Han nationality in Southern Song Dynasty, was born in Hanyang, Hubei Province, with the word Wanqing. He died in 1260.

Wang Yake was in the shogunate of Jia Sidao. Jia Sidao fled from Hanyang to Jiangxia (today's Wuchang), and secretly sent people to Kublai Khan to accept coins to negotiate peace. Wang Ya rebuked Jia Sidao for cheating the emperor by falsely reporting his military achievements. Jia Sidao was so angry that he killed Wang YALAO.
