Yang Ao

Yang Ao (1921-1949), also known as Yang Xueren, was born in Xixia County, Henan Province and a member of the Communist Party of China.

A student of Chongqing Rural Construction College, who once organized a reading club and led the student movement, was arrested by KMT agents for participating in the "anti civil war, anti hunger and anti persecution" movement during the "June 1" arrest in 1947. He was imprisoned in the "Sino US cooperation Institute" garbage hole concentration camp. He actively helped difficult friends in prison, and was abused when he was found writing secretly. He was always loyal and unyielding, and had deep theoretical cultivation. All the difficult friends admired him . He died in zhazidong prison on November 27, 1949 at the age of 28.
