Yang Ruiyun, born in July 1978 in Guilin, Guangxi, holds a doctor's degree. He is now an associate professor and master's supervisor of the school of chemistry and chemical engineering of Guangxi Normal University, and a scientific researcher of the Key Laboratory of "medicinal resource chemistry and drug molecular engineering" of the Ministry of Education of Guangxi Normal University. In July 2006, he received a doctor of Science Degree in organic chemistry from school of chemistry and chemical engineering, Sun Yat sen University. His research direction is natural product chemistry.
