From 1994 to 1995, he majored in oil painting in the Department of plastic arts, Herzen National Normal University, Russia. He began to work in 1983. From May 1985 to November 1989, he was the director of the Art Department of Guilin Institute of education. From November 1989 to April 1994, he worked in the Art Department of Guangxi Normal University. From December 1996 to November 1999, he was the associate professor of the Art Department of Guangxi Normal University and the director of the oil painting teaching and research section. From November 1999 to now, he has been the executive editor in chief of the Journal Department of Sichuan Academy of fine arts, and has been the director of Xi'an University of fine arts He is a research fellow of the Institute of fine arts of the Academy of fine arts, a specially invited author of Taiwan's "collection" magazine, a research fellow of Shenzhen Art Museum, a director of Chongqing Artists Association, and an executive director of Chongqing periodical association. He is now the chief editor of contemporary artists.
