Li Zhaoyuan, a native of Zhucheng, Shandong Province, was a magistrate of Jian'an (now Nanping) from 1783 to 1787.

Li Zhaoyuan is the founder of Gongshi. See Xu Shichang's collection of Qing poetry in the Republic of China.
