What's the taboo of shaking hands?

We should try our best to be in line with the standard in the handshake ceremony and avoid violating the following taboos.

(1) Don't hold each other with your left hand, especially when dealing with Arabs and Indians, because in their eyes, the left hand is not clean.

(2) Do not rush to shake hands, to avoid two people shake hands with the other two hands to form a cross.

(3) Don't wear gloves or sunglasses when shaking hands. Only women wearing gauze gloves when shaking hands in social occasions are allowed.

(4) Don't put your other hand in your pocket or hold something when shaking hands.

(5) Don't shake hands without expression, without a word or long speech, bow, too polite.

(6) Don't just hold each other's fingertips when shaking hands, as if you are deliberately keeping a distance from each other. The right thing to do is to hold the whole palm of your hand. Even for the opposite sex.

(7) Don't pull or push the other person's hand, or shake it up and down.

(8) Don't refuse to shake hands. Even if you have hand disease, sweating or soiling, you should say "sorry, my hand is inconvenient now" to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding.
