Five tips for saving at home

(1) Before cooking, use a clean cloth to dry the remaining water in the pot after washing, which can reduce gas consumption.

(2) Soak the rice for 3 minutes, wash and drain the water, pack it in fresh-keeping bags, put it in the refrigerator overnight, and cook it in the early morning of the next day.

(3) When cooking mung bean soup, boil the water in the evening and put it into a hot water bottle. Add an appropriate amount of mung bean and cover the bottle. The mung bean soup will be ready the next morning.

(4) Make porridge. When cooking porridge with an electric rice cooker, put the rice in the rice pot. When the water boils to the boiling point, you can adjust it to the heat preservation state or unplug the power supply. The porridge can still be cooked, which can save a lot of electricity.

(5) Before going out in summer, close the windows and curtains of the room and leave only one small window for ventilation. At noon, the indoor temperature is 2 ℃～ 3 ℃ lower than that when the windows are not closed, and then turn on the air conditioner to save electricity. In summer, when you boil water, you can fill the bottle with water. Put the bottle in a sunny place and put it in the morning. When you boil water in the afternoon, you can save electricity.
