How to give first aid to electric shock

In case of coma caused by electric shock, the first thing to do is to help the person get rid of the power supply. If you are indoors, you should cut off the power immediately; if you are outdoors, you can't cut off the power, you should use a wooden stick to pick up the wire, or use dry clothes to pull the electric shock away.

When the electric shock is separated from the power supply, different emergency rescue measures should be taken according to different situations

(1) If the person has not lost consciousness, and still has breathing and pulse (heart is still beating), try to send the person to a nearby hospital for treatment immediately.

(2) If the person who has been electrocuted has lost consciousness, but his breathing and heartbeat have not stopped, at the same time of notifying the hospital for rescue, the person who has been electrocuted should be placed in a flat and well ventilated place, and then let him smell amonia (urine can be used instead); at the same time, some cold water can be sprinkled on the person who has been electrocuted, and then rub his whole body to make it hot. Once it is found that the electric shock person has dyspnea, gradually becomes weak, or spasms appear intermittently, artificial respiration should be carried out immediately.

(3) If the electric shock person stops breathing and the heart stops beating, the first-aid personnel should give him artificial respiration immediately; otherwise, the electric shock person will die soon.
