Dress requirement of shirt

The shirt to wear with suit should be a formal shirt with long sleeves of pure cotton and pure wool products. Cotton and wool blended shirts can also be used. Formal shirt must be single color, white is the best choice. In addition, blue, gray, brown, black, can also be considered, formal shirt generally with no any pattern is better. Thin vertical stripe shirts can also be worn in ordinary business activities, but don't match with vertical stripe suits. Printing, plaid and patterns with characters, animals, plants, words and buildings are not formal shirts.

The collar type of formal shirt is square collar, short collar and long collar. When choosing a shirt, you should take into account your face shape, neck length and tie knot size. The contrast should not be too big. The shirt with stand collar, wing collar and different color collar is not suitable for formal suit.

When wearing formal shirt and suit, pay attention to:

(1) Button up: when you wear a suit, all the buttons on your shirt should be fastened. Unbutton your shirt only when you are not wearing a tie.

(2) Tuck the hem away: when wearing a long sleeve shirt, tuck the hem in evenly.

(3) Size fit: except Casual Shirts, don't be too short or too big. The collar and bust should be moderately tight, and the hem should not be too short. When the top button is buttoned, two fingers can be inserted, and the neck does not feel squeezed, so the size of the shirt is appropriate.

In the unit, you can take off your suit coat temporarily and wear a long sleeve shirt and tie directly.
