Songjiang Xinbang lotus commune

Xinbang Town, known as "Furong Town", has always had the tradition of planting lotus. In recent years, many new varieties have been introduced consciously. Now, there are more than 150 varieties of lotus in the town, with a total planting area of nearly 1000 mu. Among them, there are more than 50 kinds of water lilies, and the number of Lotus Varieties ranks second in China. Many Lotus Varieties from Shanghai and even East China come from here.

It is a farmhouse resort integrating ecotourism, catering and entertainment. It used to be the largest aquatic flower production and export base in China - Shanghai Shenhai Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd. Shenhai people used 10 years of wisdom and hard work to create a typical wetland environment here. Has 300 acres of production and operation and test base. The water system extending in all directions runs through the whole park, with green trees, lotus shadow, flower fragrance and plants competing for splendor. Egrets soar in the blue sky in the morning of summer, and the lake is shining in the sunset. Three or five friends go fishing under the forest, or catch wild eels and lobsters by the field. In winter, they are in the elegant restaurant beside the water, enjoy the beautiful scenery and countryside, breathe the fresh air of "natural oxygen bar", taste delicious dishes and hot pots, and have a pleasant drink with relatives and friends.

Traffic information: starting from people's Square, take Yan'an Road Viaduct for 10 km, turn A20 road for 7.5 km, turn A8 Shanghai Hangzhou Expressway for 38.5 km, get off from "Xinbang" exit, pass Xinbang toll station, turn left into Yexin road for 4.4 km, and turn right into Xucun road for 1.6 km at the first intersection after getting off the bridge, Arrive at Hehua commune, Nanyang Village, Songjiang District, Shanghai (destination is on the right side)
