Xiamen Haicang Wildlife Park

Covering an area of 1.2 million square meters, the park was officially opened in 1993. It is the first scenic spot in China with a new type of subtropical garden ecological environment system integrating animal, forest, plant, science popularization and other characteristics and ornamental functions. The garden is full of beautiful scenery and charming scenery. In the north, there are continuous green mountains as screens; in the south, there are more than 30 giant animal stone carvings; in the East, there are lush lychee forests; in the west, there are rippling Xili Lake. Traffic information

Take bus No. 704 and 707 to dongshaowei station, then walk along Bayi Road to National Highway 324 for about 700 meters.

Take no.707 bus to Xianjing cemetery station, then walk 500 meters along Bayi Road to Xiang'an campus of Xiamen University.

There are more than 2000 representative species of wild animals from all over the world. Among them are very rare white tiger, African zebra, takin, antelope, Australian kangaroo, American ostrich, Cuban flamingo, South American sea lion, etc. Also produced in our country's national first and second level protected animals, Siberian tiger, Red Crowned Crane, red panda, black bear and so on. There are two areas in the park: walking area and car tour area, which simulate the original natural environment of wild animals in the overall design and construction, which is not only suitable for the survival of animals, but also gives visitors a sense of returning to nature; car tour areas include: White Tiger area, Northeast Tiger area, lion area, bear area and African herbivorous area. There are African herbivore area, waterfowl area, songbird corridor, free range animal area, red panda hall, children's pet park, rhinoceros hall, hippo hall, kangaroo garden, Sea Lion Performance Hall, elephant acrobatic performance field and lion, tiger and bear comprehensive performance field in the walking area. There are special animal performances every day.
